Version 1.5 Beta of the Mevo iOS app introduces a new streaming option: YouTube Live. Mevo producers can now choose YouTube as a streaming destination for their events.
Please note that this is a Beta and is not recommended for use in production environments. Learn how to download the iOS beta.
In the live edit view, tap the red button in the lower left corner.
All of your streaming and recording options will populate. Tap 'YouTube.'
The screen below will open. Tap the 'HD' icon to change your quality settings.
The options are:
- Full HD = 1080p (1920x1080)
- HD = 720p (1280x720)
- Medium = 480p (853x480)
- Low = 360p (640x360)

Tap your desired option to select it.
Tap the 'Stream Now' option. This will give you the option to either stream directly to your channel ("Stream Now") or to an event you have already created in the YouTube Live Event Manager.
Tap your desired streaming option to select it.
To access more settings for YouTube, tap the gearwheel icon.
Tap the red 'Go Live' button in the lower right corner to start streaming to your selected YouTube destination from Mevo.
After a moment, Mevo will start streaming to your selected YouTube event.
Tap the red dot on the lower left corner to reveal more information about your stream, including viewer count, battery levels, bitrate, timer, and audio source.
To end the stream, tap the red dot, then slide the larger red dot that appears to the right.
A card will appear indicating your stream has ended. Choose whether you want to save a recording to your microSD card, then tap Done to close the card.
